Immured Populations
The Immured Population Program provides educational services in the form of GED, English as a Second Language, Work Train/Work Keys and Basic Skills to individuals in correctional environments, alternative community based programs, including homeless shelters, substance abuse programs and other special federal programs such as the Youth Build grant. We have a strong collaborative effort with Occupational Extension whereby students are matched with both GED and vocational studies preparing them for re-entry to be productive members of society. In the calendar year 2009 - 10, there were 180 graduates with over 1100 students served.
